this means that we would require new OpenSSL to compile... could you supply OPENSSL_VERSION_NUMBER check necessary? or are there more stable (not-changed-between-versions) API?I don't know exactly when this change occured.Sometime in the 0.9.8 snapshot. But is really it necessary to "ifdef" for 3 different versions?
i guess it is necessary, as various platforms include different version of openssl in their tree. too bad openssl guys decided to change the APIs, not to augment the APIs... itojun - This is the TCPDUMP workers list.
