RE: ACID / PHP / MYSQL -- help!

I was getting the same error when I compiled mysql source on RH 7.3.
Though it was compiled without any errors. I couldn't figure out the
error, didn't get it before. I installed mysql and mysql-php rpm and it
worked. bingo!

built into PHP. Please recompile PHP with the necessary library
(--with-mysql)"


I am running 4.0.13 mysql (binaries)
PHP version 4.3.2 (compiled with --with-mysql --with-gd
--enable-sockets)


Could you point me in any sort of direction?  I am not a PHP expert(!)
but I am stuck here!  It works OK with the redhat precompiled PHP, but I
would very much like to use the source version if poss.
