removing sensor number

i have one box w/ 2 nics doing the sniffing logging
and acid.

i restarted the box and noticed that the sensor
changed to sensor 2 then 3 then 4
now the box seems to be logging just that acid is not
picking up the traffic.

anyone know how i can fix this 
has some one posted before about this issue.
