Yes, get rid of one of those salls to initialize Spade and things should work correctly. I am not sure, how the 2nd call would have gotten there, but it should not be possible to apply the Spade patch twice (I would have to look at how it is distributed to be sure though).

Actually, the Spade installer uses something that is probably more durable across code changes than a patch file (it can even be used unchanged for 2.0 even though it was developed for 1.9.0). However, it doesn't currently check if the user had already installed Spade.
