Problems running Snort 1.9 for windows

Hi, I have installed Snort 1.9 on my Windows 2000 machine, i'm getting the
following erros however:

pcap_loop: read error: PacketReceivePacket failed
pcap_stats: PacketGetStats error: The handle is invalid.

Please help..
