However, I do like having packages available via darwin ports. While we are on the subject, does anyone know or have a MacOS X 10.4 pkg for nmap (Intel compatible)? The XNmap (homepage.mac.com/natritmeyer/ ) includes an installer for nmap for the PPC. I can find discussions about compiling nmap but this requires the Apple Developer Tools system. Not a show stopper, but not exactly convenient either. thx d
