Hi I happens to be one of the administrators for Astalavista.net and I like to clarify. Astalavista.net is kinda neat, it has a very good forum and a large directory for files of all inds. Lots of ebooks to, if you are looking for something special, please tell me and I will earch to see if its there. We also have a big exploit directory, but to be honest, there is many other places you can get just as good resources for an exploit archive. Just take a look at the front page and select the tour to see what else it has. We also have war game servers/challanges for those who wants to try out their skills. If you want more info, please just ask with this mail, or you can join our irc network. irc.astalavista.net port 6667 or 6697 for ssl. Thanks Lars

There is also a DVD you can buy full of tutorials, exploits, tools and so on. As for the .com it is a warez zone and of course a black hat area! Note: the team behind .box.sk is different from the team that manages the .com and .net! Do not mix things up! Astalavista.com is the one with all the cracks/porn related stuff. Maybe I am wrong, past the opening page of astalavista.net it might be all warez. While searching for resources I came across Astalavista.net, which I have known about for years but never looked at it. Any security site can be a good resource, but does anyone have any experience with the quality of Astalavista's membership? Does it fall under black hat more than neutral?
