Subject: Inprotect - Installation Issues?

I am interesting in using this tool.

Great project. I'm glad to see it's being actively maintained once again.

"Finally configure your web browser to server webpages giving it
permissions to execute PHP scripts
within the webroot you specified in point 2." - I don't know what this
means or where to give it
permissions ?

You make these changes in the Apache httpd.conf file. Here's a URL that
gives step-by-step instructions on configuring Apache & PHP to work
together: http://dan.drydog.com/apache2php.html

But based on the error you're getting, you're probably fine here.

"mysql://:@/inprotect failed to connectAccess denied for user
''@'localhost' to database 'inprotect' "

It looks like you need to edit the config.php file and edit the $dbuname and
$dbpass variables to match the values you configured in Part II of the
INSTALL file.
