Does this mean that a company offering a certification containing the word "licensed" could potentially give investigators an inaccurate sense that they are permitted to carry out investigative work while not being in compliance with this legislation? If the law requires an investigator to be licensed then such certifications may become misleading even if this is not currently the case.
