Agreed, and if you have to, you can change the port that it uses by e.g. mdac echo login 80/tcp > newservice.txt copy c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\services oldservice copy newservice.txt + oldservice c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\services rcp will now use port 80 Rogan
