If you are looking for a complete kit might as well go for the Pwn Pad http://pwnieexpress.com/products/pwnpad On May 31, 2013 8:41 AM, "Larry Pesce" <larry () pauldotcom com> wrote:
If I recall, all of those devices were non-root. My device is rooted, but I don't think it had any bearing, as I seem to remember rooting afterwards. Pcap Capture is a odd beast, in that the driver for the ALFA card is usable on monitor more, but all in userspace - no root required. - L On 5/30/13 10:28 PM, Mike Perez wrote:I'm thinking of getting a Samsung Galaxy S4, Android version that Google recently announced. I hate to say it,but Ithink you are correct on the iPhone side, mostly due to the fact that the wireless drivers are "less than open". To my knowledge, monitormodesupport does not exist on non-jailbroken iDevices (I'm not sure about jailbroken ones). My solution? Go Android. I picked up a Nexus 7 and use thefollowingtools frequently: Kisbee - Zigbee sniffer (for use with 3rd party hardware) Pcap Capture - Monitor mode WiFi capture with a specific ALFAwirelesscard and OTG cable WiFiFoFum - Rogue AP locator WiFi Analyzer - Kismet-like wireless discovery WiGLE WiFi Wardriving - Kismet-like wireless discovery Cloudshark - Cloud based wireshark for analyzing pcaps Hope that helps. - L On 5/30/13 9:58 AM, Brian Wilhide wrote: > I am curious if anyone has found any good apps for mobile devicesfor> wifi testing?
