Hmm. My script expects the device to be in discover mode, and a bluetooth earpiece might not be in that mode all the time. I found one (of questionable functionality) and tried, and it wasn't discoverable. But Nick's script uses hcitool, and connects to a bluetooth device. I tried to use hcitool as well, and it didn't seem to work. I can modify my script to use hcitool, like Nick, so that it will work with devices that aren't discoverable, but I don't seem to have an earpiece that works.
