At the risk of offending some folks (like I actually worry about that)... Verizon has done great work with their breach report and framework. And they have some great people. But, remember that their stats reflect orgs desperate (or ignorant) enough to use VZ for IR. FWIW, I would love to see similar info from Stroz Freidberg, Mandiant, or other responders who might have a different type of customer.
