errors during npcap install

I had winpcap installed originally for use with wireshark, and then I started
to dabble for the first time in QT trying to build a simple router logger.
Anyway, during the install I decided to not use the winpcap compatibility
and it had issues.. so I removed npcap and winpcap, rebooted and installed
npcap (not in compatibility mode). I tried running wireshark and it was
fine.

I then loaded my partially done capture program (that worked with winpcap)
and the screen loaded but I had no network devices to select from.
Uninstalled npcap, installed again.. same issue. Uninstalled again,
installed with winpcap compatibility, and it worked. Except... I have about
4 extra interfaces showing, some without any ID's..

Interfaces \Device\NPF_{4737B279-0652-4A90-A303-758288BB81F0} for VMware
Virtual Ethernet Adapter
Interfaces \Device\NPF_{D98CAA8E-B223-4027-8EFF-FF276836578A} for VMware
Virtual Ethernet Adapter
Interfaces \Device\NPF_{78032B7E-4968-42D3-9F37-287EA86C0AAA} for AsyncMac
Adapter
Interfaces \Device\NPF_NdisWanIp for NdisWan Adapter
Interfaces \Device\NPF_NdisWanBh for NdisWan Adapter
Interfaces \Device\NPF_NdisWanIpv6 for NdisWan Adapter
Interfaces \Device\NPF_{898E4597-C0EF-4E6B-AF09-FC389596F8C9} for
TAP-Windows Adapter V9
Interfaces \Device\NPF_{BF1B0D59-3D98-4694-B3FC-35A74907EE47} for
TAP-Win32 Adapter V9 (Tunngle)
Interfaces \Device\NPF_{375E7940-F4C2-4F9A-95AA-0457AB130336} for Intel(R)
I211 Gigabit Network Connection
Interfaces \Device\NPF_{8B56B970-E9CC-4051-AFF8-B6A8179F55C6} for MS
LoopBack Driver

There were additional ones, but I used device manager to delete 3 duplicates
of the MS loopback driver. I have no clue what a AsyncMac adapter is doing
in the list, and there are 3 "undefined" NdisWan adapters listed. I do have
other questions with respect to using npcap but for the moment I'd like to
get rid of these duplicate and unneeded interfaces.

Thanks :)

Gary
