Issues with http-vuln-cve2014-3704 with older nmap version

Hello All

http-vuln-cve2014-3704 is released with version 7. as announced here
http://seclists.org/nmap-announce/2016/1

I'm using an older version of nmap in mac and linux (6.47)

After downloading the file, when I try running the script I get an error
:164: 'unexpected symbol near '<'

Using the newest version the scripts works without issues.

Can the script work using older versions or does it work only for the new
version?
