i ran the IGMP discovery script against my local router which is sending out IGMP router membership packets (can see them w/ windump) am i supposed to see IGMP related info? because all i am getting is this output> (basically a fallback to a simple scan) C:\>nmap --script broadcast-igmp-discovery -e eth0 192.168.0.1 Starting Nmap 6.45 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2014-04-16 21:15 Central Daylight Time Nmap scan report for 192.168.0.1Host is up (0.020s latency). Not shown: 998 closed portsPORT STATE SERVICE80/tcp open http8080/tcp open http-proxyMAC Address: 50:39:55:44:F5:AE (Cisco Spvtg) even if i don't specify an IP , i get the same dump. turning on packet-trace gives me this: NSOCK INFO [10.4070s] nsi_delete(): nsi_delete (IOD #1)NSE: N/A unknown protocol:0 > unknown protocol:0 | CLOSE thanks /m|ke _______________________________________________ Sent through the dev mailing list http://nmap.org/mailman/listinfo/dev Archived at http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/
