Agreed, that's what I'm worried about.

How complicated would it be to provide a check for an existing copy of
psexec or automatic instructions on how to obtain it?
Easy. I already do that with a lot of things that are either flagged malicious (fgdump) or incompatibly licensed. It'd be a matter of a check (that I already have code for) and a warning message.
