Compiling nmap-4.68 on Solaris 9: After "./configure --with-openssl=/usr/local/ssl", when the make descends into the nsock directory, the include for /usr/local/ssl/include is lost (Makefile in nsock/src built incorrectly), and if that is worked around (symbolic link in /usr/local/include), then the /usr/local/ssl/lib is lost and must be included manually by altering LD_LIBRARY_PATH. The last several releases of nmap have not compiled or run successfully on Solaris 9. The last successful one was nmap-4.20. -- Shane Castle GSEC GCIH 303-441-3953 _______________________________________________ Sent through the nmap-dev mailing list http://cgi.insecure.org/mailman/listinfo/nmap-dev Archived at http://SecLists.Org
