The promiscuous test is correctly guesing NIC mode on these systems: - BSD - MacOSX - Linux It's not possible to guess Solaris. I need more data about windows results. And these tests don't work on wireless.
Does this work on a switched LAN? It compiles and runs fine on OSX, except I only get: |_ Promiscuous detection: Unknown (tests: "________") for all scanned hosts (a Belkin router, a WinXP machine and an OSX machine). I am not sure if this is an error condition or if it is a correct result.
