Actually, I wish to know what you think about the design (color, panel
placement, fonts, ...). I will use them as the first templates and theme.

I'm glad you've made this stuff easily changeable through xhtml+css.
So do what what you think looks nice, and I'm glad you have also
solicited feedback from the list (and am glad people provided some).
I probably won't be specifically micro-managing what exact font or
colors you use, though I'll let you know if something bothers me. The
best designs are often the ones I don't even notice :). I'm glad the
main panel is scalable as I resize my browser window. That is often
important.

In fact, the user could define if he want make a TCP or UDP scan. So, I
think i will make : a radiobutton for each type of scan (TCP, UDP, IP), and
after, when a user choose one of them, a list will appear and he will
provide the method (syn, ...). What do you think about it ?

Well, the thing is that you can choose one TCP scan type and also have
UDP scan at the same time.

What OS and distribution are you planning to develop this on?

On Debian. But I use OS X too, and I will try to develop it on the twice
systems.

Great. And portability isn't so critical for this project, since the
vast majority of people will likely use it through the html interface
on the Linux box someone has set up. And if someone wants it for OS
X, they can always port it and send patches. But at the same time,
portability does have its share of other advantages. So if you want
it working on OS X too, go for it. But the SoC program doesn't
require it (I don't want to ask for the world and end up with a
non-functional project at the end of the program).

Cheers,
