I'd be happy to try it out on here, but unfortunatley I'm out of a development environment for a tad bit of a while. If anyone can send me the binaries, I'll give it a wurl. Take care, Sina -----Original Message----- From: nmap-dev-bounces () insecure org [mailto:nmap-dev-bounces () insecure org] On Behalf Of Fyodor Sent: Friday, January 20, 2006 5:01 PM To: nmap-dev () insecure org Cc: Priit Laes Subject: NmapFE on Windows with GTK2? So with all of Priit's changes to port Nmap to GTK2, is anyone interested in testing it on Windows? I compiled it for Windows about 5 years ago with GTK1 (http://seclists.org/lists/nmap-dev/2001/Jan-Mar/0000.html). The results weren't very satisfactory (GTK problems, I think). But maybe the situations has improved a lot by now. Don't the Gimp, Gaim, Ethereal, and other popular open source GTK applications now work reasonably well on Windows? If anyone gives this a try, please let us (nmap-dev) know how well it works and what changes (if any) you needed to make.
