to me text-only = no CSS, no colors, just hyperlinks and text, no real 'design'.
   
i should've been more clear, i was not advocating 'fancy graphics',
flash, java applets, activex controls or any other such things...

I disagree with that, i am personaly tired of text only pages like
that of a lot of open source software. graphics and 'effects' on the
new site are not overdone and add a nice friendliness to it...


Fancy graphics won't help us on slow modem lines.
Text-only is fast, clear, and concise.
