This is a stretch and would work more like a "Rube Goldberg Machine" than a real solution... I would guess it would be possible to run nmap within linux inside a vmware session on a windows host box that is running this ProxyCap and redirect the scan! Again, it's probably way too much of a glass foundation to actually work but it's interesting to think about. I think SOCKS support for Nmap would be a worthy addition to the already large line of features. PS: You have no idea how long I've been waiting to work in the Rube Goldberg Machine phrase into a conversation. ;-) -b Hello testic, Monday, October 27, 2003, 6:26:11 PM, you wrote: t> Thanks for the link Bo, unfortunatley (or fortunatley depending on how you t> look at it) I dont use Nmap from Windows either. t> Perhaps there is a patch that exists for Nmap for SOCKS support? t> -testic t> http://www.testic.co.uk t> --------------------------------------------------------------------- t> For help using this (nmap-dev) mailing list, send a blank email to t> nmap-dev-help () insecure org .
