As recently as a couple of years back, I recall insecure.org having a spot for submitting TCP fingerprints when 'nmap -O' returned "No OS matches for host" (and I knew what the host was). As the nmap output actually should tell you, it's at http://www.insecure.org/cgi-bin/nmap-submit.cgi To everybody:Be careful to not submit fingerprints generated when scanning through firewalls, NAT devices (on your end!) or load balancers without telling that in the Notes section. I have seen pretty strange variations in the fingerprints caused by such things. Yo Fyodor, this should be mentioned on the submission web page!
