Yea, as much as I love Juniper Hardware the M series is really a long way on the past at this point. I would suggest 
the new MX150 is the way to go for up to 20G requirements. Of course that's in a different league from the OP's 
criteria.

I'm replacing an M10i with a CHR. 

I hope you have a newer RE so that you don't have worse BGP convergence than a CCR.
