Actually not only they claimed to have a fibre cut but also had a power
failure in the SNV2 facility. The tech called me and relayed that there was
a fibre cut from Sunnyvale to SF, strangely enough this happened around the
same time as the power outage in their SNV2 facility.

did anybody get any kind of confirmation from GlobalCrossing that the cut
actually took place?
