The debian packages have been fixed for a few weeks now.  
Make sure you are running ruby1.8-1.8.7.72-3

ruby1.8  (1.8.7.72-3) unstable; urgency=medium

   * applied debian/patches/905_class_dup_should_copy_constants.dpatch:
     - Class#dup should copy constants into the duplicated class.
       (closes: #506344)
