It would appear that Windows is killing your VNC service after 30 seconds because the service did not return a successful start signal back to the OS within this period. Try with other payloads such as remote shell. Does it also die after 30 seconds? Check your system process list - if there is something chewing up your mem/cpu it may timeout. Or you can try setting the start timeout to something higher (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/884495). I've not had any issues with multiple re-exploitation of XP boxes with this...
