Greetings Dave, Past IP posts have discussed arrests for those who film or record police officers, and the alarming frequency with which wiretap, interferring with arrest or invasion-of-privacy charges are leveled against those who record police activity. So it may be worth noting that a Boston judge yesterday not only threw out wiretapping and disturbing the peace charges, but made a point to rule that obvious and non-interferring recordings of police activity are protected by the 1st Amendment.
