I've been wondering when the alarm bells will be raised about nano and bio tech labs being opened overseas rather than in the US. I don't have any sources for this or know for sure it's happening, but logically, whyopen labs in the US when it's cheaper and regulation less onerous overseas?
Same with R&D. At the point even the *new* high=tech jobs are moving off shore, everyone should start seeing the writing on the wall. I think the solution is to invest in University science and technology research, as well as assisting small business ventures which are more likely to keep jobs in country. -- ------------------------------------- You are subscribed as lists-ip () insecure org To manage your subscription, go to http://v2.listbox.com/member/?listname=ip Archives at: http://www.interesting-people.org/archives/interesting-people/
