Dear Colleagues:

The NASA History Office has just posted a request for proposals to write a full-length history of "Bioastronautics and Biology During the Human Space Program: A Look at NASA's Life Sciences Research from 1980 to Present".  The book should focus on NASA's life science and research efforts from 1980 to the present with some discussion of previous efforts.  For full details go to

 http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/synopsis.cgi?acqid=112349

and click on "solicitation".  Proposals are due by November 23, 2004, and should be sent to Goddard Spaceflight Center at the address specified in the solicitation.

As a heads up, in the next month or so, we are also expecting to release a broad solicitation for the history of space science.

 Best wishes,

 Steve Dick
