The copyright wars continue. For a change, I have some modestly good 
news
from the front lines.

One horrible piece of legislation before Congress is under attack, 
albeit
belatedly. And one excellent bill is gaining strength, albeit slowly.

 On June 22, some U.S. senators who should have known better introduced 
a
bill that would give the entertainment industry its strongest legal 
club yet
in the fight to stop copyright infringement.
