I have been to many a corporate meeting including some sales meetings. . I understand the corporate salesman "emotions". I would not use the word scarey but I still stand by my comment re Pachard and Grove and other senior founders.

Of all the IP postings over the past several years, your comment
about Ballmer is perhaps the most snide comment you have ever mdae. And the
forward note from Alexandros Papadopoulos is probably the silliest. This
old clip, which has been circulating on the net for years, is "scary"????

I'm no Microsoft fan, but to term Ballmer's behavior as scary because he and
billg are the favorite boogeymen to so many, is just nonsense. You guys
need out to get out more - to sales meetings in large organizations on any
given day.

From Alex:

Oh, I just found out about it yesterday. But yes, that's what I felt
after watching it. Same as when I saw Dubya saying to the face of the
world "Bring it on!".

Generally, when people of power/influence exhibit the mental maturity of
a 5-year old, I find it scary. And the way I see it, Ballmer is one of
the major elements in today's extremely important technology
environment. The undisputed fact that there is worse happening every
day doesn't exactly soothe the pain :-)

I hope I didn't offend you or anyone else - that was not the intent.

Cheers
