Today, a Press Release on the site saysa court has witheld such order:"AnonThe District Court in Frankfurt /Main decided yesterday (Az.: 5/6 Qs 47/03) that the enforcement of the judicial instruction by the Lower District Court inFrankfurt to the partners of the AN.ON project given some weeks ago on request of the German Federal Bureau of Criminal Investigation is to be suspended. According to this instruction, AN.ON, the mutual project of the Independent Centre for Privacy Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ICPP) and the TU Dresden for surfing the web anonymously, had to record the access to a particular IP address. The project partners have disabled the recording function they implemented according to the first court decision immediately after they were informed about the new decision." http://www.datenschutzzentrum.de/material/themen/presse/anonip2_e.htm We are to see if the users will continue trusting the service..... - - - - - - - - - - Claudio GutiƩrrez M. http://claudiogutierrez.blogspot.com
