IP: bad system modularity pays

In the NYTimes article on the MS trail, Stu Madnick said it was impossible to creat a modular version of Windows. Personally I doubt that if we are alking ab out IE separation. But the real point is that poor software design clearly pays off. I suspect w should start teachin how to create indiv isable code.
