Dave,

BBC showed a Taliban supporter yesterday who said the Taliban would not
deliver bin Laden to the US but put him to trial at an Islamic court if
evidence on his involvement with the terrorist action were submitted.
Given the interest taken in bin Laden at least some evidence should now
exist.

Given the fact that the US is unwilling to sign a treaty on a war criminal
court that will enable trial of US servicemen at a foreign court perhaps
the US government should have some understanding of the Taliban position?

Btw. both the US and Islamic courts have a death penalty which frankly
would appear reasonable for a person proved to have masterminded such a
terrible act.
