IPV6 IS GAINING POPULARITY: IETF IPNG WORKING GROUP CO-CHAIR
The IETF, or Internet engineering task force, is an organization that
studies Internet technologies and defines specifications. Nikkei
Communications interviewed Steve Deering about IPv6 (Internet protocol
version 6). He is co-chair of the IPNG (IP next generation) working group
that is defining the IPv6 specification, and also is a fellow of U.S.-based
Cisco Systems Inc.
