IPV6 IS GAINING POPULARITY: IETF IPNG WORKING GROUP CO-CHAIR The IETF, or Internet engineering task force, is an organization that studies Internet technologies and defines specifications. Nikkei Communications interviewed Steve Deering about IPv6 (Internet protocol version 6). He is co-chair of the IPNG (IP next generation) working group that is defining the IPv6 specification, and also is a fellow of U.S.-based Cisco Systems Inc. <http://www.nikkeibp.asiabiztech.com/wcs/frm/leaf?CID=onair/asabt/intvw/129901>
