AN INVITATION TO VISIT THE COURTROOM OF THE FUTURE On Sunday, October 1, 1995, Judge Cara Lee Neville, Chair of the ABA Criminal Justice Section, will lead a delegation of interested persons in a visit to the "Courtroom of the Future" at the Williams and Mary Law School in Williamsburg, Virginia. The Courtroom demonstration will begin at 1:30 p.m. It will take approximately two hours. The Courtroom of the Future is a unique project that illustrates emerging technology that is currently available, and soon-to-be available for courtroom use. Some of the technology demonstrations include remote video conferencing for remote witness testimony, lawyer directed presentation technology, remote arraignment, and elements of the court record. For further information and to reserve a space as one of the participants, please phone Susan Hillenbrand at the ABA/CJS Section staff office (202-662-1503).
