Dave-- this is old, rehashed news.  Reuters' for whatver reason, must 
have had nothing better to do. 


Since the supposed "deal" fell through a week ago, nothing has been done 
on this bill;  everyone -- excpet top budget negotiators - -are out of town.


The news clip distributed here contains nothing but air.


I write this just so that people dont' think there is any active work 
going on owith the bill;  there isn't.  Not until Jan. 5that earlier, and 
posssibly  not unitl Jan. 20th, when the real work of Congress starts 
after the holidays.
