Once you bear in mind that Microsoft never sends out executable attachments (and that the message was not digitally signed) that fact that it's fake is obvious. If you pass the word about this worm at all, please tell everyone that patches like this are never sent out through the e-mail and that they should never run an executable that comes in the mail, even from a trusted from: address, unless they know that it's coming and what it is.
