First off all, many @Home users are wide open, so they are high targets for
people looking for unprotected NetBIOS shares. Also, these may be just
innocent broadcast packets trying to discover other MS machines to build the
Network Neighborhood.

I have an @Home cable modem. Due to the pathetic nature of security when
connected directly to the internet I have put up a firewall. Has anybody
else noted ALOT of 137,138,139 requests comming from @home addresses lately.
Note all @home and Road Runner IP's are 24.x.y.z
