Mr. Trammel, What you are looking for is a program called OpenTrap. We use it daily on systems that are causing lockups, random reboots, and giving sporadic errors. Perhaps it will help you. "OpenTrap is a 32-bit Windows 95 application that lets you record file system activity so you can diagnose problems with your system or just see what's going on behind the scenes as you work." I found the link for you as well: http://www.zdnet.com/pcmag/pctech/content/16/13/ut1613.001.html Thank you, James A Kennemore Jr Owner Simplified Computer Solutions P.O. Hello People, I am wondering if any of you know of a tool to monitor and log changes to a specific text file on Win9x/NT OSsÂ’ I have a INI file that is randomly going to 0 Bytes on over 5000 machines and I need to find out exactly when this happens and who/what is being written to the file before this happens.
