I appreciate everyone's help with my problem, which, I now consider solved. Thanks to everyone who helped out and made suggestions and to the moderator who was hard at work even on Easter. Shouts out to The Honeynet Project for great work and a great book. On Sunday 27 March 2005 20:51, Earl Sammons wrote:

I am not, but at this point I am strongly considering.
You may be able to modify what you have and make it work by: - - dissable checks for modules (since you're running a monilithic kernel)
Sometimes the best way to troubleshoot a problem is to start with everything enabled and roll back from there. Well it might not actually be the best way, but it is my way.... =]
- - man iptalbes and look for the "physdev" section
Ahhhh. This is the answer I was looking for. When I was reading the logs I was wondering if the problem could be that iptables sees the interface as br0. I feel like a dumbass not RFTM'ing (although, 54 pages by my term settings). Thanks again.
