Hi Roderick,Alex is perfectly right. As long as you don't do anything to attract somebody to your box there should be no problem even in France :-)). If this wouldn't be the case every single PC connected to the net would be a problem as lots of people don't secure their boxes accurately. The only difference with Honeypots is that there is some mechanism around to monitor traffic and catch the actions.
