(c) It doesn't seem to have dawned on these idiots that if *they* could
reach in and remotely activate a cam/mic, that so could anyone else who
possessed the appropriate credentials.  And given the utterly miserable
state of security in school systems (e.g., Julie Amero) it's quite likely
that their (that is: the admins') systems are 0wned and that those
same credentials have long since found their way elsewhere.

In other words, they designed, deployed and activated a pedophile
content delivery network, thus building a highly attractive target
and doing so in an environment well-known for its lack of security.
