Hi, The 2007 Nissan Altima now comes standard with a hands-free keyless ignition and entry system. The car can be started with a push of the button as long as the driver has their RFID-equiped key fob in their pocket or purse. The car doors can also be unlocked with a push of a button on the door handles if the key fob is close by. My prediction is that in 10 years almost cars will come with this same hands-free feature. My question: Can a unique ID number be read on the sly from a Nissan key fob by someone who has the right kind of reader unit?
