Today is the day Microsoft has stopped support for Windows 98, including security updates. Hackers are expected to take advantage of this to send a politcal message to Microsoft and focus on Windows 98 to give the operating system a final sending off on its way to the graveyard, as 70 million computers are shut out by the Redmond based corporation. Meanwhile, dedicated Windows 98 user outcry is starting to ripple through the internet, as computer geeks mourn the shuttering of Windows 98 support for its estimated 70 million computer users. Microsoft is advising its 70 million Windows 98 users to update their systems to Windows XP with immediate affect. n3td3v
