As the problem clearly affects Windows, it should be addressed on that system (that will be Microsoft's job). On the other hand, it's probably the result of an incompatibility in the SMB protocol Samba uses. Just to make sure the Samba people know about it, I've filed a bug: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=878 Cheers Daniel Kabs PS: In the Windows Batch file, the line: |cd K:\sharedfolder has no effect.
