Just don't forget that this really keeps you off the target of opportunity list some- a determined (or well-equipped) attacker won't mind using linear amplifiers and high-gain antennas or a chain of cheap and small repeaters. Also, denial of service for WLANs are really old technology- so if it does become critical, you likely won't be able to locate a jammer without outside help- but that's probably where physical distance helps the most.
