IPTables and Bridging

You definitely want to grab the newest bridge patches for whatever kernel
version you are running.  I have been and am running a few different 2.4.x
(mainly 2.4.18) kernels using iptables and 802.1d bridging with no
particular problem. (well, maybe...watch for my next post) It does work at
least.  I don't know exactly which version of the patch I have on each
machine, but I have generally grabbed the newest each time.

None of mine are RedHat kernels, however, all are from kernel.org.
